If you are using any 50L Keg coupler (A-Type, D-Type ect.) and want to be versatile in what kegs you can get, then we would strongly suggest converting your couplers to 5/8" Ball lock posts, to use ball lock disconnects on your coupler to change them over quickly.
Not only will adapting commercial kegs to suit homebrew disconnect make changing kegs over a breeze but cleaning beer lines will be easier and less messy. Simply disconnect your liquid line on your kegging system and attach to a carbonation cap or cleaning keg, instead of using a commercial washout keg.

This is for liquid only, the identifying difference is engraved band around the post. A Gas Ball lock disconnect will only fit on a gas post.
